Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care in Portland, Maine is seeking a full time experienced, hard-working emergency clinician to join our team.

We are seeking an individual that is team oriented and who has excellent communication skills with peers, clients and referral practices. We take a collaborative approach to patient care. The values that guide our patient care are compassion, kindness, respect, quality and communication.

Our hospital is a busy and growing private specialty practice serving the greater Portland area as well as the rest of the state. PVESC is currently comprised of two boarded surgeons, a boarded criticalist, a boarded radiologist, ABVP specialist, as well as experienced emergency doctors and certified veterinary technicians.

The clinic is equipped with digital radiology, a GE 4-slice helical CT scan, two ultrasound machines, and an in-house laboratory.

We are a growing emergency and surgical referral practice with a fast paced environment, a variable and challenging caseload and a busy emergency service with a full complement of veterinary specialties in our facility.

Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care of Portland, ME is looking for a full time licensed or experienced veterinary technician to join our emergency and critical care department. We have experienced veterinarians and technicians on staff as well as access to a full complement of veterinary specialists in the building. We offer a team approach to patient care. We are a state of the art facility with a 4 slice CT machine, digital radiology, two surgical suites, in-house laboratory suite, Pulse-Vet shockwave therapy, laser therapy, as well as advanced monitoring equipment.

We have experienced veterinarians and technicians on staff as well as access to a full complement of veterinary specialists in the building. We offer a team approach to patient care.
